Victory Role: another page in the history of the famous marque was written with the advent of the 3-litre, V-12 250 GT Testa Rossa, developed for the 1958 season. A supremely successful track car, raced by both Scuderia Ferrari and privileged privateers, the 250 GT was a distinguished rarity, bodied by Scaglietti under designer Gian Carlo Guerra, working without drawings and moving directly to a wire framework construction. Musso, Hawthorn, Collins, Von Trips, Phil Hill, Gendebien and Seidel all campaigned the model, leading the way to the 1958 Manufacturer’s World Championship. A true connoisseur’s Ferrari.
