Artist’s Impression: 330 P3s, entered by Spa Ferrari SEFAC, heading for victory during the long distance race at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, the epicentre of Italian motor racing, built in 1922 near Milan, and allegedly completed in 110 days. A notably fast banked circuit, redesigned in the 1950s, and distinguishable by the parabolic Curve Sud. Grand Prix practice days at Monza were traditionally enlivened by the appearance of Enzo Ferrari in the pit lane. “I’ve seen motor racing history pass before me from a front row seat,” said the grand old man of Italian racing.
