All our posters are printed using a lithographic printer -  the image is etched by laser onto a coated aluminium plate - to achieve the highest quality results. We also utilise the best quality modern high performance inks that are available, and print onto 100% cotton paper.

Please note that any type of hand-printed image or artwork will fade when placed in direct sunlight for extended periods of time. Due to pigments, amongst other factors, colours gradually fade over time, which is sped up when hung in direct sunlight.

It is for this reason that we highly recommend using UV protection when framing our posters, if they will be exposed to sunlight. UV glass acts as a film, and bounces a large majority of UV rays away from the artwork, which will protect it from fading over time.

Swinging London: Traditionally associated with 1960s style and fashion, Chelsea's über-fashionable shopping street, the King's Road, is as popular today as it ever was. The flourishing youth culture and fashion of the day are encapsulated by Avalon in this Swinging 60s London scene. Driven by a glamorous blonde alongside her equally coiffured afghan hound, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider featured in this scene is a design classic. Avalon has included several Chelsea icons – the famous Chelsea Potter pub, the Chelsea Drugstore and, of course, a Chelsea Pensioner.
