Where do you go to (my lovely): Juan-les-Pins was popular with the international jet-set long before Peter Sarstedt's 1969 number one hit. Boasting attractive sandy beaches, a famed night-life and the beautiful Promenade au Soleil, it remains as popular as ever. Juan-les-Pins has been inextricably linked to jazz since the 1920s, and has held the annual "Jazz à Juan" festival since 1959. To cement its status as the jazz capital of the Riviera, the handprints of more than 50 jazz musicians who have played at the festival, including B. B. King, Dee Dee Bridgewater and George Benson, can be found laid into the ceramic tiles which form the pavement alongside the seaside stage.
