All our posters are printed using a lithographic printer -  the image is etched by laser onto a coated aluminium plate - to achieve the highest quality results. We also utilise the best quality modern high performance inks that are available, and print onto 100% cotton paper.

Please note that any type of hand-printed image or artwork will fade when placed in direct sunlight for extended periods of time. Due to pigments, amongst other factors, colours gradually fade over time, which is sped up when hung in direct sunlight.

It is for this reason that we highly recommend using UV protection when framing our posters, if they will be exposed to sunlight. UV glass acts as a film, and bounces a large majority of UV rays away from the artwork, which will protect it from fading over time.

Winter Wonderland: a composition characteristic of the theme of a European winter wonderland (the Alps comprise roughly the southern half of Switzerland) and illustrating to lasting effect the infinite appeal and recreational joys of the Alpine landscape. Historically, the Alps were lauded by Continental bon vivants as a select destination. In the Edwardian era of travel, 'the world of yesterday', the aristocracy reigned in a way that would be inconceivable today. The Jazz Age followed and, between the wars, the rich were still rich, still took to the slopes by day, and still partied by night. Reassuringly familiar?
