Sand between your toes: Arguably the most naturally beautiful islands in the world, the Phi Phi islands in Thailand came to worldwide prominence when Ko Phi Phi Leh was used as a location for the 2000 film 'The Beach'. Depicted here is the largest and most popular of the six islands, Ko Phi Phi Don. Breathtakingly handsome as you approach from the sea, its classic arcs of pure white sand framed by dramatic cliffs are lapped by turquoise water. A flat sandy strip connects the hilly east and west halves of the island, scalloped into the symmetrical double bays of Ao Ton Sai and Ao Loh Dalum.
